Scalp Micropigmentation

Scalp Micropigmentation (or SMP) is a way to conceal hair loss through a medical tattooing.

Hundreds of tiny micro dots are applied to the scalp to recreate the look of thicker, fuller hair. A modern alternative to painful (and often unsuccessful) hair transplants, it’s quick and effective, non invasive and non painful.

Clients visit us over 3-4 sessions, around 2 weeks apart, where we build up the treatment gradually to achieve a natural look. Each session will cover the whole area we are treating, so you won’t be left with gaps or an unfinished hairline. Best of all, you can go straight back to work/life as usual, as there is no recovery time needed.

We offer treatments for the following:

  • The cost of your SMP treatment will depend on how many sessions you need (your practitioner will advise you on this). As a guide, we will build your new hairline over 3-4 sessions with the first 2 sessions costing £700-£800 and session 3 costing £400-£500. If a fourth session is required this will be free of charge. Treatments for thinning hair and covering alopecia/bald spots can be achieved in 1/2 sessions, POA.

  • SMP involves minimal pain, but we appreciate everyone has different pain tolerance! On a scale of 1 to 10, SMP is around 1-3. Our clients tell us its definitely less than a tattoo.

  • SMP works brilliantly for women. Most of our clients come to us to help with thinning hair caused by hormonal changes including the menopause. SMP gives the illusion of thicker. fuller hair.

  • Scalp Micropigmentation is a permanent treatment, and if looked after correctly, will last for years. We recommend a top up after 5 years to keep your colour looking in perfect condition.
